Shrop48 will take place over the weekend of 1st and 2nd June, in South Shropshire's picturesque market town of Ludlow. Bring a team, or come on your own, and meet the county's most energetic creative people, and get very busy making a film in 48 hours!
The base of operations for the entire weekend will be run out of Appletree's premises, right smack in the middle of Ludlow Town Centre, and will also be the location for the premiere screening of the films on Sunday evening.

Team captains will be given a FILM BRIEF: which will contain:
• A line of dialogue
• An object
Both of which must appear in the film.
Full Rules and regulations can be seen by clicking the link on the left, but in summary:
Bring as much gear as you like, but all content (Footage, photos, graphics, music, titles) must be produced during the 48 hours, no stock footage is permitted, all music must be creative commons copyright free.
Doors open at 6pm at Appletree's offices in Ludlow on Friday 31st May. Films must be completed and will be screened at 6pm Sunday 2nd June.

Pip is the CEO of the Producers Forum. He has a background in professional youth and community work spread over 16 years, since leaving full time youth work he has spent the last 13 years making films from education to documentary and feature film.
His first feature film "the insatiable moon" after a successful run in NZ cinemas and subsequent DVD release has been doing the rounds of independent uk cinemas to some great reviews and reception : UK DVD launched in October 2011.
He won best foreign film at Moondance festival USA and best Actor and best supporting Actor at the NZ film awards.
Deborah has a background in production starting out in News, Sport and Entertainment as a broadcast technician experienced in camera operation, editing and directing live output before moving into production management/line producing, directing and producing.
Experienced in studio to location, live TV to Drama, single camera to multi camera shooting.
As MD of Movie Mogul Ltd, John Shackleton co-wrote and produced psychological horror/thriller feature film PANIC BUTTON, and is writer/director of forthcoming sci-fi/action movie WE ARE MONSTERS. John has directed an array of short films and factual entertainment programmes for a number of broadcasters including BBC1, Channel 4 & ITV
An entrepreneurial film maker from Leeds, West Yorkshire UK who's film making journey began in 2009.
Bypassing film school and hitting the books, Internet and just getting out there to make things happen.
The unique aspect of Danny's journey is the way in which he's sharing everything online via Social Media,
a live show and his website.
Between Sept 2010 and Feb 2012 Danny has written, produced and directed 3 short films and is now working on 2 feature film projects and a TV pilot.
LUCY V HAY
Lucy V Hay is a novelist, script editor, screenwriter and blogger who helps writers. Lucy is one of the organisers of London Screenwriters’ Festival where she is the Head Reader & Educational Director for its many contests and initiatives. She is the author of BAUCHENTSCHEIDUNG (Gut Decision) and Associate Producer of DEVIATION, starring Danny Dyer & Anna Walton. She is currently working on a slate of genre movies with Silver Leaf Pictures' JK Amalou
Shane Morgan is a South West based director, producer and arts reviewer.
A graduate of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, he has worked internationally as a theatre maker and is a regular contributor to BBC Radio Bristol.
Shane is currently Resident Director at Bath's Rondo Theatre for 2013.
Linda Shayne is an American / Canadian writer/director of feature films and television. Shayne has directed for PARAMOUNT, NICKELODEON, MPCA and Concorde. Shayne has written movies for DISNEY, Roger Corman, SHOWTIME, Brian Grazer and IMAGINE ENTERTAINMENT. Currently, Shayne is prepping a dramatic feature film to shoot in Europe in 2013
Stewart is a freelance DP, director, filmmaker and MET Film School London tutor (Ealing Studios).
He also runs Panny Hire (camera hire) and Film Division (production company).
Stewart has shot over 35+ music videos, TV commercials and 10+ short films with TV broadcast credits in the UK, North America and Asia. Some of his videos have over 3+ Million YouTube views.
He is also a judge on the 2Weeks2MakeIt competitions.
